KidLogger PRO on POCO Phones

Among our clients, there aren't many POCO phone users. This is not because these phones are bad; they're actually quite decent, even though they don't belong to the high-end category. However, these phones have some peculiarities that make installing monitoring software challenging. On one hand, some settings are located in unusual places for Android, and on the other hand, all installed apps use an adaptive power-saving scheme. This means that the Android system can disable all background apps if it deems there’s insufficient power or memory, leading to malfunctions in parental control software.

When we reach the "Ignore battery optimization" section, we see a window with four options. We must select the first one, "No restrictions."

For Android Support, this button doesn’t work, meaning you need to manually go to Settings, Apps, Support Android, find Battery saver, and select "No restrictions."

After a restart, this Battery saver option disappears, so keep in mind that it must be set up before restarting the phone.

Similar to Redmi phones, POCO has a separate Background autostart option.

Find this option in the settings search field. Enable System Android and Support Android.

Another feature of POCO phones is that the automatic closure of SETTINGS, APPS, Support Android, and System Android windows to prevent their deletion does not work.

This option is usually managed by the Android Support module, but in these phones, the settings for the Settings window have been modified, and the program cannot close them. Therefore, be aware that your children can delete the Android System and Android Support apps if they find them among the numerous apps.

Another point regarding the adaptive battery management scheme: even though we set our apps to unlimited mode, after the first restart, this mode will switch back to Battery Saver.

Additionally, after installing KidLogger PRO, the program cannot be launched using the *123456# command. Therefore, you will have to rely solely on the data sent from the phone: if data is being sent, the program is working; if not, it has stopped.
