Accessibility changes in Android 13
You may have noticed that in Android 13 and 14, access to the Accessibility section has changed.
After installing the KidLogger PRO program, you open Settings, go to Accessibility, and see that the Android System program is inactive.
Why does this happen?
Google has made it harder for applications to access accessibility features because these features provide access to the screen, microphone, and camera. Such access can allow spy apps to monitor phone users, read their messages, and listen to phone conversations. However, our KidLogger application is not a spy app. Therefore, we need to manually grant permission for the Android System and Android Support programs to function within the Accessibility group.
How to do this:
Previously, we instructed users to go to the list of installed applications, find System Android, open the menu (three dots), and execute the “Allow limited settings” command. This action must be confirmed with a password or fingerprint.
However, if you go directly to Settings > Apps > System Android, you will not see the three-dot menu.
First, you need to tap on the System Android app in Settings > Accessibility.
After that, you will see a message that some options are restricted and need to be allowed in Settings > Apps. You need to tap OK to let Android know that you understand the importance of this action.
Only then can you open Settings > Apps > System Android, menu to enable restricted settings.
After this, the System Android application will be active in Settings, Accessibility.
After installing the second component, Support Android, follow these steps:
First, go to Accessibility > Support Android and tap on this app.
Then, go to Settings > Apps > Support Android, allow restricted settings, enter your password, and return to the Accessibility section to enable Support Android.
